1. Citizens can now file RTI applications online in all central government ministries and departments through a portal. The facility will be launched by the Minister of State for Personnel,Public Grievances and Pensions, V Narayanasamy in New Delhi this evening. 2. The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) on Tuesday announced its decision to buy long-term government bonds worth Rs 80 billion (nearly $1.3bn) to pump more liquidity into the country's banking system.
