1. WPI inflation in May 2013 came down to 4.7 percent against 4.89 percent measured in April 2013.
2. The Parliament of Norway, called the Storting, voted on 14 June 2013 to recruit women in armed forces. It became the first NATO country to do so.

4. Maersk Line unveiled the World’s largest Container Ship named Maersk McKinney Moller from the South Korean Shipyard.
