1. Bhim Sain Bassi will take over as the new Police Commissioner of Delhi on August 1. Bassi will take over from the present incumbent Neeraj Kumar, who will retire on July 31.

12. The US space agency NASA has said a tiny new moon has been spotted circling Neptune. This will be the 14th known to be orbiting the far away planet.The moon is believed to circle Neptune once every 23 hours.
