1. Today is Statistics Day - 7th in a row since 2007. This day calls for strengthening our resolve to revamp the statistical system. The theme chosen is,“Labour & Employment Statistics” is extremely relevant in the context of our State where unemployment is a social issue of serious concern.

11. In Wimbledon: Leander Paes & Radek Stepanek to face Jamie Delgado & Matthew Ebden in the second round. In other second round match Mahesh Bhupathi and Julian Knowle will clash with Nicholas Monroe and Simon Stadler.
